The shut-off is found on the regulator. The shut-off switch may have been set to "OFF" during transport or installation. The shut-off valve can be in the "ON position," and gas will flow into the oven and cooktop. The shut-off valve will allow gas to flow to the cooktop and the oven when set to "OFF." This differs from the main gas line from your home gas supply.
Call usThe unit's ability to provide a ground path is essential for correctly operating surface burners and oven igniters. Verify that you are using a grounded 120-volt AC outlet. Never connect the power plug to a two (2) prong extension cord or adapter. If you do not know if an outlet is grounded or accessible, try connecting a small, known appliance with the same power cord. If the power is incorrect or you have any doubts, please get in touch with an electrician.
Covering the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil or a bottom liner is not recommended. The foil or liner can restrict gas and air flow to the burner.
Control locks may be available on some ovens. You can reset the stove by holding down the buttons for three seconds. Refer to your Owner's manual for the location of the control lock function on your model. Some ovens also have a demo mode. Demo mode turns off the stove and displays a brief presentation of the features of the range. To learn how to turn the demo mode on and off, consult the Owner's Manual.
